The current method of paying employees is failing low income workers. Millions of working South Africans live paycheque to paycheque, unsure if they’ll get paid by the time their bills are due.

 

Many turn to payday lenders to bridge the gap, but this compounds the issue. A staggering amount is charged in fees and interest rates on loans that are typically used to pay for food, transport and rent. This problem is putting an additional burden on everyday workers, and it deserves a solution. It’s the reason we do what we do.
